PRODUCT WARRANTIES:
We stand behind each and every one of our products, so if for any reason
you are dissatisfied, please let us know and we will make it right. We
want to treat you fairly and promptly and will work to resolve any
problems you may have.
WARRANTY DETAILS:
All
PT-Tuning products carry a Limited Warranty from defects in materials and
workmanship to the original retail purchaser of the part for a period of
one-year from the date of original purchase. If such a defect appears
during the warranty period, PT-Tuning will repair or replace (at its
option) your product without charge, except for transportation costs, both
to and from our product warehouse. This warranty applies to the original
purchaser only and is not transferable to any subsequent owners.
Some
PT-Tuning products carry our limited "Lifetime Warranty" which
covers defects in materials and workmanship to the original retail
purchaser of the part for as long as they own their PT Cruiser. This
limited "Lifetime Warranty" applies to the original purchaser
only and is not transferable to any subsequent owners.
EXCLUSIONS & LIMITATIONS:
Failure due to misuse, abuse or improper installation are not covered under
this warranty.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL BAUHAUS CORPORATION,
(PT-TUNING.COM), BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS
OF LIFE OR PROPERTY, LOSS OF DATA OR
PROFIT, ARISING OUT OF THE USE, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE MATERIALS ON
THIS SITE, EVEN IF PT-TUNING.COM OR A PT-TUNING.COM AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IF
YOUR USE OF MATERIALS FROM THIS SITE RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR SERVICING,
REPAIR OR CORRECTION OF EQUIPMENT OR DATA, YOU ASSUME ANY COSTS THEREOF.

OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS.

ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
How
Products Affect Your New Vehicle Warranty:
Will certain parts that we sell void new vehicle warranties? The answer is
yes and no, and sometimes, maybe. It is illegal for a dealership to void
your warranty simply because you have made modifications to your vehicle.
It is the dealership's responsibility to prove that your modification
directly caused or affected the failure you are trying to resolve. With
that said, some dealerships are more performance-oriented and willing to
work with customers.
However, some of our products,
such as the Supercharger System, most likely will cause the voiding of
your 'Cruiser's power-train warranty. Therefore, we will alert buyers to
those items that we know void the warranties in the product sections of
our store. We cannot know everything in this area, therefore we strongly
recommend consulting with your local dealership before you purchase from
us if this is of concern to you.
Our own tests indicate that
Chrysler has built the vehicle with strength tolerances sufficient to
sustain the boost in power from our Supercharger system. However, this in
no way constitutes any warranty on the part of PT-Tuning, either expressed
or implied, for suitability of use of our performance products in regards
to the product life cycle of your vehicle. Purchasers of our product(s)
agree to accept full responsibility for any loss of factory warranty and
or loss of product life cycle attributable to the installation and use of
said product(s).
